Portable Cast Iron Wood Burning Camp Stove – Black with Carrying Case for Backpacking & Outdoor Cooking

This portable cast iron wood burning camp stove is black and comes with a carrying case. It is designed for backpacking and outdoor cooking where solid fuel (twigs, wood pellets, or charcoal) is used.

Material and build:

• Cast iron body – retains heat well but is heavy relative to steel.
• Removable grate – for pots or pans.
• Ash pan underneath.
• Carrying case – padded fabric with a zip.

How to use: Place small wood pieces or charcoal in the firebox. Light with a match or lighter. Once a bed of embers forms, place a pot or pan on the grate. The cast iron radiates heat upward and to the sides. Ideal for boiling water, frying, or simmering stews.

Size: Firebox approx. 15 x 15 x 10 cm. Grate diameter 12 cm. Suitable for cooking for 1–2 people.

Portability: Cast iron makes this stove heavier than aluminium models – around 3.5 kg. However, the durability is higher. The carrying case has a shoulder strap.

Cleaning: After the stove cools, tap out ash. Wipe the cast iron with a dry cloth. Do not wash with soap – it removes seasoning. Apply a thin layer of cooking oil to prevent rust.

Safety: Cast iron stays hot for a long time after use. Allow at least 1 hour to cool. Use heat-resistant gloves. Do not use inside tents.
